The Glacier 1250 is the ultimate sleeping bag in Mountain Equipment’s Glacier range. Built using superior materials and quality construction, this high performance range of bags is aimed at mountaineering in variable conditions across Europe’s mountains, with the Glacier 1250 being ideal for winter specific backpacking or mountaineering.

The Glacier 1250’s thermal insulating properties are achieved using ethically sourced 90% Pure down which is expertly blended to ensure superior quality is retained and with a minimum fill power of 675 cubic inches for high loft. To ensure the fill reaches its full insulating potential trapezoid baffles, a modification on V baffles using less fabric, are used to maintain the down fill in areas it is needed the most whilst maximising loft and minimising down migration resulting in elimination of cold spots.

Durability is a priority with the Glacier 1250 and thanks to the Drilite Loft outer shell which provides resistance to snow and moisture, the sleeping bag is able to perform in a variety of weather conditions. Add to this the anatomical hood with Halo baffle, the 3-Dimensional neck collar and sharks toe foot piece amongst other technologically advanced features, and the Glacier 1250 proves to be a very high performance bag.

Tested to EN13537 standards for assured temperature recommendations. This 4 season sleeping bag is suitable for UK use during cold winter weather and for mountaineering.
