The Classic 1000 is the ultimate in Mountain Equipment’s most popular Classic range of sleeping bags which feature quality fabrics and fillings for durable, long lasting and versatile sleeping bags. The Classic 1000 with its 1000 grams of down is ideal for use in trekking peaks, high altitude treks and camping above the snowline.
With insulation composed of ethically sourced 90% pure down, expertly blended for assured quality and with a minimum fill of 675 cubic inches, the Classic 1000 has superior loft and insulating properties. The Classic 1000 is packed full of innovative features for superior thermal efficiency, including its unique sharks toe foot which enables the feet to remain in a natural resting position whilst reducing compression of insulation, an all too common cause of cold feet. This combined with the 5 individual baffles in the foot piece allows for effective loft and efficient thermal insulation around the feet. The new DWR ripstop outer shell offers durable water resistance to the bag whilst the trapezoid baffle construction maximises loft at the same time as minimising migration and thus reducing cold spots.
