The Classic 500 is part of Mountain Equipment’s most popular Classic range of sleeping bags which feature quality fabrics and fillings for durable, long lasting and versatile sleeping bags ideal for use in a range of outdoor activities such as mountaineering, hiking or camping.
With insulation composed of ethically sourced 90% pure down, expertly blended for assured quality and with a minimum fill of 675 cubic inches, the Classic 500 has superior loft and insulating properties. The Classic 500 is packed full of innovative features for superior thermal efficiency, including its unique sharks toe foot which enables the feet to remain in a natural resting position whilst reducing compression of insulation, an all too common cause of cold feet. This combined with the 5 individual baffles in the foot piece allows for effective loft and efficient thermal insulation around the feet. The new DWR ripstop outer shell offers durable water resistance to the bag whilst the trapezoid baffle construction maximises loft at the same time as minimising migration and thus reducing cold spots.

Temperature Advice
Tested to EN13537 standards for assured temperature recommendations. This 3 season sleeping bag is suitable for camping in the UK in the Spring and Autumn months, or low level mountaineering where temperatures are slightlty colder in the summer months.
