Iceline is the penultimate bag in Mountain Equipment’s Extreme range. This high performance, technologically advanced bag has been tried and tested on the world’s 7000m and 8000m peaks and used many times on the north col of Everest, making it an ideal bag for mountaineers, expeditions and alpine ascents.
Superior thermal properties are as a result of the finest quality, ethically sourced 93% Hungarian goose down with a minimum fill power of 750 cubic inches. Vertical, box wall and slant wall baffles ensure the thermal efficiency of the Iceline is taken to its full potential as loft is maximised and migration of down minimised to eliminate cold spots, while the EXL elasticated top lining enables the sleeping bag to fit close to the body for improved comfort and warmth.
Amongst the technologically advanced features that Mountain Equipment is renowned for such as the anatomical hood and sharks toe foot, is the Drilite Loft outer shell which is exceptionally light and water resistant resulting in a hydrostatic head of 1500mm for protection of the down fill from moisture which would have a detrimental effect on the down’s insulating properties.

Tested to EN13537 standards for assured temperature recommendations. This 5 season sleeping bag is suitable for extreme cold weather experienced in mountaineering use at high altitudes (upto 8000m).
