Product Description
The Starlight I is part of Mountain Equipment’s entry level Starlight synthetic sleeping bag range. This sleeping bag is ideal for late spring to summer backpacking and use in hut to hut mountain trails with its noticeably small pack size and light weight.
Its light weight properties and ultra small pack size are achieved through the use of Polarloft Micro insulation which offers an excellent weight to thermal insulation ratio. Other lightweight features include the honeycomb outer nylon fabric panels with Durable Water Resistant treatment, the ultrasoft and durable nylon lining and the lightweight compression sac to save as much space as possible when travelling.
For comfort, the Starlight I features a sharks toe foot piece to allow the feet to maintain a natural resting position and reduce compression of insulation in the foot area while the shingle construction of the insulation minimises cold spots and increases thermal efficiency. Additionally the 3 dimensional neck baffle rests comfortably around the neck and works effectively to reduce heat loss. With the focus on the recreational outdoor enthusiast, the Starlight I includes user friendly designs such as the pocket for valuables and glow in the dark zips.
Easy to care for, compressing to a small size and being light enough to carry, the Starlight I is sure to deliver.
