Mountain Equipment’ s Titan 850 is the warmest bag in the new Titan range which aims to deliver warmth and performance yet without the heftier price tag of other technical bags. Although the Titan 850 may not be able to compete with some of the other Mountain Equipment sleeping bags on weight and pack size, this bag offers excellent performance when faced with cold and harsh conditions such as at base camp when exploring cold weather mountains or when camping in the harsher winters which we have experienced in the UK in recent years..

The Titan 850 utilises pure down insulation with a minimum fill power of 650 in order to create an environment inside the sleeping bag which is most adept at retaining heat. The Titan 850 enhances the heat retention provided by the down insulation through the many technical designs which feature on the bag. The anatomical halo hood fits snugly around the head and neck area to prevent heat being lost from these sensitive areas, whilst providing a protective barrier from harsh winds and cold drafts. The EXL elasticated lining ensures that excess space is eliminated by gently hugging the body and increasing the thermal efficiency, while the sharks toe foot design allows the feet to remain comfortably in a natural resting position thereby preventing down compression and heat loss from the feet.

The Titan 850 is the front runner in cold weather camping, providing warmth and comfort in the harshest of conditions.
