Sea To Summit Equipment

In 1990 Tim Macartney-Snape made history by climbing Everest from a starting point in the sea and by doing so he was the first person to truly climb the entire 8,848 meters from sea level to the summit, Tim's expedition was therefore named "Sea to Summit". When he got back to Australia Tim joined forces with Roland Tyson - a keen climber, sewing guru and a good friend. Together Tim & Roland developed an outdoor equipment business that today produces highly innovative yet affordable equipment. They named their company Sea to Summit after Tim's expedition and the business prospered.
